Wall Paint Ideas For Interior and Accent Walls

I saw this idea used on the wall of an entry way in a house. Over the door to the living room, they painted, " Please bare your soles". It was so cute, and the walls along the stairway to my basement are the perfect canvas for something similar. Any ideas?

So my g/f got the bright idea to paint our bathroom walls with clear paint and gold glitter. At first she mixed the two together but the glitter was clumping together so she started painting the walls and tossing glitter on the wall. Suffice to say, she did not like the way it came out and wants to strip the walls. The walls are drywall and I attempted to sand them but that is not working too well. Anyone have a better method to remove the gold glitter so we can paint the bathroom a normal color?

I want to paint my walls a light neutral cream based color, but I have one wall that I would like to paint a darker, somewhat bolder color. Most of my things tend to be in golds, creams, browns, and soft lights mauves and soft muted olive colors. Anyone have any ideas? I’d like something that’s not too dark. Thanks!

I’m moving into an apartment where the walls have a hideous paint color. I need to get ideas of what i can do to cover the walls without ruining hte paint job or the wall itself. will removing a starch soaked fabric wall covering ruin the paint underneath? thanks for all the answers

i want to do a mural on my bedroom wall but i’m not sure on what to do… i’m not sure on what design to paint. i was thinking a city skyline but i’m not sure. i planning on painting my walls purple or teal. if it helps im 13. any ideas? thanks!

The previous owners of our house painted nearly all of the metal wall plates with latex paint. We’re in the process of repainting most rooms and rather than paint the wall plates our new colors, we’d rather just remove the paint altogether. Lowe’s sells new plastic wall plates for cheap, but since the ones we already have are metal we’d prefer to keep them. Any ideas?

Areas are hall, kitchen and dining area (open concept). Cherry/mahogany furniture in dining area/ kitchen has blackish granite countertops. Need wall colours and kitchen cabinet color ideas. Note area opens to living room (also needs to be painted) that has deep red/brown leather sofas, burgundy curtains and mahogany furniture. Current off white paint looks washed out against all this dark. Any suggestions to pull this together ?

garnet and gold are the colors but not sure how i should design it
